Navigating life as a parent can be challenging. For many families, both parents work and many must navigate the balance of being available for children at home, being present at work, and creating structure for drop offs/pick ups so that everyone gets to where they need to go on time. Oh and don’t forget about groceries, laundry, dishes, and picking up the house on a daily basis... As a parent of two young children I can attest to this struggle personally and I am here to empathize with how challenging it can be, as well as help you find effective solutions in your life. This often starts with creating healthy boundaries and I am motivated to help you put those boundaries in place for your self care. Having a space that is all about YOU is what can make a real difference in your ability to be present for your children. That is what I would like to provide for you.
The easiest thing to do as a parent is do it just like your parents did. The second easiest is to do the exact opposite of what your parents did. The hardest thing to do is be the parent that your children need you to be. I want to be a support for you to be the parent your children need you to be and that is some of the most important work you can do in your life. I believe that all parents are doing the best they can at all times to be the best parent they can be. That being said, I also think that having a place to slow down and reflect about how things are going can lead to some profound insights about how we treat ourselves, our partners, and our children. Let’s connect and begin your healing journey so that you can be the best parent you can be!!
